This week |
16:33 |
|
1. Continued making PR's. if you refer to https://github.com/rdrsadhu/be[…]#migration-status then I have completed the work till Nutrition activity. And the acitivities till Clock are in pipeline. |
16:33 |
|
2. Quozl suggested to fix multiple license scenarios and look for compatiblity (Good Read - https://fedoraproject.org/wiki[…]ensingGuidelines), hence implemented that |
16:33 |
|
3. Pro-Panda suggested I can update screenshots, report issues on running build, checking flake8 and more. Hence going to install sucrose and install a few activities. See what I can pull. After porting to GTK3, screenshots should be updated. |
16:33 |
|
4. Working on the other end, I have deployed ASLOv3 on my rig and Jatin gave me access to sugarlabs test repository. Hence will be testing it out in the weekend. A lot of code to read. Good stuff |
16:33 |
|
5. Writing the blog currently for week 8. |

Hello everyone |
16:33 |
vipulgupta2048 |
Next week |
16:33 |
|
1. More activities will be fixed. The number will vary but will be closely following Rdsadhu's work as the checklist has grown bigger, each activity now takes more time. |
16:33 |
|
2. Reading; testing; breaking; improving ASLOv3 and learning the many technologies that it implements. |

Interesting Find:- Can chain the levels 1 to other .By using the open project block. |
16:35 |
|
Looking suggestions for an interesting way to introduce the "if else" block to "Users".There are examples that I have found |
16:35 |
|
To do for next week:- |
16:35 |
|
1)complete the svg diff tool |

issues:-read pixel block is not working so it's hard to implement the checking logic of the stages.I have seen comments by my mentor walterbender who was trying to solve the problem and has written some interesting test cases for identifying the problem.I think hehas figured to solve the x co-ordinate problem and there are some problems with y co-ordinate. |
16:36 |
|
how will i solve the problem:- |
16:36 |
|
discuss with mentor how to make the transformation of axis right between easeljs and canvas. |
16:36 |

vaibhavdaren, I am close to figuring it out... maybe on the airplane tonight |

This week I have been trying to learn about Promises in NodeJs to avoid callback hell, along with ReactJs for the frontend. I realized without using a front-end framework like react things might turn difficult and a lot of repetitive coding might be done. |
16:59 |
Pro-Panda |
walterbender: hehe. I will remove pro-panda[m] |

Next Week would be applying the gained skills to the project and doing documentation of the current project status. |

Hi all , so this week was mostly testing , optimizing and merging final commits into our master branch. So , firstly we started with finalizing commits on dev branch to make sure that everything works and we are not missing something. The changes was finalized , all open issues were closed and commit merged into master.A shocking discovery we made t |
17:02 |
|
his week , is that docker containers require internet connection in the firstboot otherwise they on restarting . Michael is currently working on it and I begin to make a offline version on the image by doing a successful firstboot on my pi and taking its backup. This backup image is awesome as its boot docker container containers in minutes as well |
17:02 |
|
as without internet connection. Hrishi and Rishabh tested the image and verifies the image works great on their pi to. Only concern regarding this image is size , thats almost 7.8GB but we compressed that so now 1.5GB of download. So now 8GB sd card is a requirement. |
17:02 |
|
|
17:02 |
|
I have applied some optimizations as well so now that the image is up and working in 25-30mins on my class 4 sd card , also applied grunt optimizations. Now no need to restart or anything , just plug pi and wait :) . |
17:02 |
|
So we can say we are almost done with the image , only some cosmetic changes like static ip and local DNS remains. |
17:02 |
Pratul1997 |
Thanks jaskirat , great support :) |
17:02 |
jaskirat |
Pratul1997: thanks |

If a key pressed for 4 seconds then sound should keep coming for those 4 seconds. I am looking for such a method. |
17:04 |
walterbender |
a-ritwik, I think you need to start the sound and then stop it. |
17:05 |
|
a one second keypress is a reasonable maximum |
17:05 |
a-ritwik |
walterbender: Okay |
17:05 |
|
Regarding meter in rhythm ruler I think design sent by Devin is appropriate for our use. |
17:05 |
walterbender |
did you resolve the press vs release issue |
17:06 |
a-ritwik |
walterbender: not yet, searching for method. |
