17:34 vipulgupta2048 Scripts have been made for that, most of them are hack and slash. Need to refine them.
17:34 I can post a small description here.
17:35 ibiam sure
17:36 vipulgupta2048 It does something like this - clones the fork, switches to develop branch, makes a .xo, runs the build script, the .xo file name needs to be written manually, then it unzips it, then licensechecks and then check if necessary files and directory are present or not. When done opens a window in the default browser to make a PR.
17:37 It's a neat 20 line package. Gets the job done, uses ConfigParser, GitHub API, os lib, zipfile, and webbrowser
17:37 ibiam great work vipulgupta2048

20:11 sverma The only thing I have to add is about the "Goals" process.
20:11 MrBIOS there are at least two at https://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/[…]oard#Agenda_items

20:11 MrBIOS and I proposed a third one via e-mail
20:12 samsongoddy #gsoc
20:13 I had the opportunity to attend one of the meetings today
20:13 GrannieB I read it online after the fact
20:13 samsongoddy It seems to be going well
20:13 Next evaluation is by june 9th
20:13 GrannieB ???
20:13 MrBIOS July, presumably?
20:14 samsongoddy *july
20:14 Thanks
20:14 we also have some project going outside gsoc
20:14 Sugar Labs Social
20:15 unfortunately the project didn't made the cut to Gsoc so it was tagged an outside project
20:15 But moreover
20:15 The student working on the project wants some sort of acknowledge
20:15 Like a certificate or T-shirt or something to show proof of internship
20:15 MrBIOS have any of the slobs had an opportunity to read the e-mail I wrote earlier today? See paragraph three of https://lists.sugarlabs.org/ar[…]-July/020457.html
20:16 samsongoddy yes i did
20:16 we will come to that
20:16 So i think we should decide what to do for this student
20:16 Working on a project outside gsoc
20:17 MrBIOS Where is it documented?
20:17 samsongoddy I will do a follow-up by mail
20:17 walter was supposed to be on top of that
20:17 Any other comments? Re: #gsoc
20:18 Before we move on?
20:18 If none, then #goals
20:18 sverma?
20:18 GrannieB Perhaps, looking forward, it would be a nice idea to have some standard "swag" on hand to reward contributors
20:18 sverma The "Goals" project collected a bunch of feedback
20:19 samsongoddy +1 GrannieB
20:19 sverma We were trying to categorize some of those into "org" vs "project" items
20:19 MrBIOS on-demand T-shirts aren’t terribly expensive to make. My wife makes vinyl shirt stencils and would be happy to make one if she had a shirt size and image
20:19 samsongoddy Sounds good
20:19 sverma That has stalled. So, I propose that we simply post the list of items on the wiki and let people step up to take ownership of items they want to pursue.
20:20 samsongoddy +1
20:20 I agree
20:20 sverma I'll be happy to include the categorization that we have thus far.
20:20 samsongoddy thanks, sverma.
20:20 sverma For now, we have the suggested goal, its suggested time frame and a category.
20:20 MrBIOS sverma: I took a look at that spreadsheet yesterday and there seems to be a bunch of duplicate entries
20:21 GrannieB Post a link in an email when you have the list refined?
20:21 sverma MrBIOS: Indeed. The idea was to combine the duplicate/similar ones into wider ones
20:21 MrBIOS sverma: when was the last submission to the form?
20:21 no I meant literal duplicates
20:21 not similar or overlapping
20:21 sverma Literal dupes are a different matter
20:22 Last entries are from end of march/early april iirc.
20:22 IgnoreMe <IgnoreMe!6cb9a18a@gateway/web/freenode/ip.> has joined #sugar-meeting
20:22 GrannieB Time to consolodate!
20:23 sverma Yes.
20:23 samsongoddy FYI, we need to get goals ready
20:23 GrannieB Do you have the link to the doc handy?
20:23 MrBIOS Right. you last showed the spreadsheet with goal responses four months ago, on March first, so I’m just curious why it’s taken four months to have what appears to be an  initial discussion about it by the SLOBs?
20:24 was: re: https://lists.sugarlabs.org/ar[…]March/020398.html
20:24 sverma Here it is. https://docs.google.com/spread[…]/edit?usp=sharing
20:25 I've done some categorization, but that's about it.
20:25 If anyone wants to take ashot at it, please do!
20:26 samsongoddy I will see how I can help
20:26 GrannieB Ah, ha! That is where I first proposed Sugar Primero... and it's actually happening in GSoC!
20:26 sverma My concern is that it will remain a spreadsheet and not get documented on the wiki
20:26 MrBIOS on the subject of the suggestion, “Fully staff all boards, offices, and committees” (Thanks Samson), is there any sort of list of which seats are open/abandoned?
20:26 Line 24 of the spreadsheet, currently
20:27 samsongoddy Yes
20:27 About that
20:27 the reason why I think there have been some lags
20:27 Is because of responsibilities
20:27 that why Dave and I suggested
20:28 That Sugar Labs go into that Direction
20:28 IgnoreMe Out of curiosity, are all these goals currently being worked on, or are ideas to work on?
20:28 samsongoddy I think both
20:28 at least some are
20:28 MrBIOS IgnoreMe: at least one is being worked on, probably multiple
20:28 Python3ization of core Sugar
20:29 samsongoddy Any other comments re: #goals
20:29 ?
20:29 So we will move on
20:29 GrannieB These "goals" (most are really "objectives") need to be sorted into categories and a broader "Goal" written for each categorey. Then the objectives should be restated with proposed timeframes and measures of success
20:29 MrBIOS I’m not really sure a few seconds is an appropriate amount of time to wait for responses, samsongoddy
20:29 sverma I'd like some assistance with putting these up on the wiki.
20:30 MrBIOS sverma: I could help with that
20:30 sverma Thx
20:30 samsongoddy +1 GrannieB
20:30 MrBIOS the spreadsheet is…not exactly ideal, for consumption, anyways. Certainly makes collection easy.
20:31 samsongoddy #PR
20:31 MRBIOS, wanna take on this?
20:31 manki11 has quit IRC
20:31 sverma MrBIOS: Correct. If each item can live on its own page, it can be updated as time goes by.
20:32 MrBIOS Sure, I am less concerned in the immediate term with *doing* actual PR than the apprearance that the project is completely stagnant.
20:32 GrannieB I just saw the nice little video on the SugarLabs page... very nice! (https://sugarlabs.org/)
20:32 MrBIOS The wiki tells one story, and the static PR page has not been updated in four+ years
20:33 for instance, https://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/[…]bs/Current_Events seems to be reasonably up to date
20:34 samsongoddy I see
20:34 I recently contacted Sean about the PR possition
20:35 MrBIOS The reality is the bar for editing the website is much higher than it is for editing a page on the Sugar Labs wiki
20:35 so it’s two very different levels of effort for non-technical folks
20:36 samsongoddy More reason we need staffs I think
20:37 Back when I came to Sugar Labs early 2012
20:37 sverma There's a whole lot more to this than what we can likely discuss on IRC.
20:37 samsongoddy agreed
20:37 MrBIOS sverma: that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try ;)
20:37 regardless of whether we do or do not have a PR contact currently, the existing page seems to be causing more harm than good
20:38 https://sugarlabs.org/press/
20:38 samsongoddy I will tackle that
20:38 sverma Agreed.
20:38 samsongoddy Personally
20:38 ifeanyiekperi__ <ifeanyiekperi__!uid291517@gateway/web/irccloud.com/x-fhfpinjfeyuxawqu> has joined #sugar-meeting
20:39 samsongoddy I have been seeing some articles about Sugar Labs related news
20:39 So i will update that
20:39 Thanks for pointing that out
20:39 GrannieB lots to catch up! It looks like nothing has happened for 4 years
20:39 MrBIOS GrannieB: right, but https://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/[…]bs/Current_Events tells a different story
20:40 I am arguing that the static press page should just go away
20:40 it serves little useful purpose and gives an inaccurate impression
20:40 CanoeBerry On the bright side, there are not many links to https://sugarlabs.org/press/
20:40 GrannieB There were lots of things in the intervening time... Adam knows about some of them... events, projects in other countries, etc
20:40 MrBIOS CanoeBerry: correct, but it’s in the footer of every single Sugar Labs web page
20:40 which would be easy to fix
20:41 CanoeBerry ( whatever is decided, these links serve an archival/historical purpose within https://web.archive.org/web/*/[…]arlabs.org/press/ )
20:42 sverma There are really two problems that we are trying to tackle here: 1) What should we be working on internal to the Sugar project? 2) How should we portray this to the world outside in an "easy to consume" format?
20:42 GrannieB We need to recreate our history... fill in all the blanks. Maybe some sort of survey sent to iaep asking what they did with since about 2014
20:42 MrBIOS begins to wonder if GrannieB has me on ignore.
20:43 Again, see https://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/[…]bs/Current_Events
20:43 GrannieB * MrBIOS... Maybe my connection does???
20:43 samsongoddy That is up to date
20:44 MrBIOS correct, but it isn’t really linked to anywhere outside of the wiki itself..so we have one source of actually up to date information
20:44 samsongoddy I agree with MrBIOS
20:44 satellit <satellit!~satellit@2601:602:880:1907::a92e> has joined #sugar-meeting
20:45 samsongoddy About taking out the press page out of the site
20:45 ifeanyiekperi__ MrBIOS is very correct. If there are links to press releases, it should be linked to the sources.
20:45 MrBIOS it can always be added back later if it becomes un-crusty :)
20:45 samsongoddy Great
20:45 I agree on that
20:46 MrBIOS then there is the issue of the vacant public relations role itself, which I do feel strongly needs to be rectified. From what I can tell, the slob has not taken action or actively discussed this, but I am very late to the party, so perhaps I just missed that.
20:46 samsongoddy I am seeking on taking over from Sean as coordinator on PR
20:47 And we have both agreed for a Meetup before his possible move to france
20:47 I am still making plans on that
20:47 I will mail SLOBs when I have a concrete plan
20:48 MrBIOS I would also like to point out that May 15th was the 10th anniversary of the announcement of Sugar Labs, which may be useful from a marketing perspective: https://sugarlabs.org/2008/05/[…]lity-and-utility/
20:48 GrannieB An opportunity missed...
20:48 samsongoddy ??
20:49 GrannieB
20:49 ifeanyiekperi__ Ya. Huge opportunity to get the word out there both VISUALLY and otherwise.
20:49 Missed.
20:49 MrBIOS well, there is another upcoming anniversary, which is in December
20:49 when Sugar Labs joined the Software Conservancy
20:50 That could also be leveraged: https://sugarlabs.org/2008/12/[…]edom-Conservancy/
20:50 samsongoddy MrBIOS, free for us to work on gathering links?
20:50 ifeanyiekperi__ Great. Then the marketing team would have to have hands on deck and start planning on ways to skyrocket the reach of SL and get the word out there in every possible means.
20:52 MrBIOS so, can I propose a motion to nix the press page? Does anyone disagree?
20:52 or propose that a slob proposes such? :)
20:52 samsongoddy I don't think we need a motion for that
20:52 My opinion
20:53 MrBIOS I don’t really care either way, I’m happy to just make the change
20:54 ifeanyiekperi__ The press page can be rejuvenated to work it's purpose instead of taking it out completely. 🤔
20:54 llaske <llaske!~llaske@2a01cb00074daf00d996faf05b1e5290.ipv6.abo.wanadoo.fr> has joined #sugar-meeting
20:54 MrBIOS ifeanyiekperi__: I have no desire to do so, and unless someone else volunteers to keep it updated, it is counterproductive
20:54 samsongoddy the problem here is maintenance
20:54 MrBIOS there is also the issue of who pr@sugarlabs.org should be routed to, since now the only active SL recipient to it is currently Walter
20:54 which is a single point of failure
20:55 samsongoddy Me
20:55 walterbender hello all
20:55 samsongoddy Is seeking to take or join that
20:55 sverma Hi Walter
20:55 samsongoddy MrBIOS, can the pr@sugarlabs.org be routed to me too?
20:56 Hi Walter
20:56 ifeanyiekperi__ Hi Walter
20:56 MrBIOS samsongoddy: I don’t see why not, unless someone objects, the only real issue at present is I will have to determine how to make that change :)
20:56 but that seems to be something for the SLOB to consider as a whole
20:56 samsongoddy Yes
20:57 That is what I am working on
20:57 To officially take that responsibility
20:57 Of the PR person
20:57 walterbender UTC 21 is about 3 minutes from now :)
20:57 CanoeBerry Whoever receives pr@sugarlabs.org let's also publish that/those name(s) somewhere.
20:57 walterbender But I will read the backlog
20:57 MrBIOS CanoeBerry: fully agreed :)
20:58 ifeanyiekperi__ CanoeBerry: seconded
20:58 walterbender if I am on that list, which I may well be, I have seen zero traffic in years
20:58 llaske has quit IRC
20:58 CanoeBerry I need to leave after an hour now, hope we're almost done!
20:58 samsongoddy Yes
20:58 MrBIOS back to the goals for a moment, I would like to address one now that Walter is here
20:59 James Cameron submitted “Maintain in working order the Sugar desktop and a core set of Sugar activities against the two popular and always changing Linux distributions; Fedora and Debian.”
20:59 To me, there is no other goal that should be considered higher priority than the one above. It is fundamental to the continued existence of Sugar Labs as a meaningful thing
20:59 walterbender +1 to that goal... but given that we are short handed it means perhaps giving up on other maintenance goals.
21:00 MrBIOS, I don't disagree, but I don't see them as mutually exclusive
21:00 MrBIOS that’s possible, but there may be other ways to skin that particular cat
21:00 GSoC is helping us greatly in this regard
21:00 but James should not feel as if he is the only one who cares about it
21:01 Claudia +1
21:01 walterbender MrBIOS, /me made a big effort to ensure that a large portion of the GSoC effort was focused on that
21:01 sverma Without going into details about cat skinning, both Flatpak and Snap can further that goal quite nicely, compared to apt and yum approaches in the past.
21:01 walterbender although personally I have not contributed many reviews
21:02 sverma, this have been brought up many times... we can learn, for example from the way that Endless is building their systems
21:02 sverma http://flatpak.org
21:02 http;//snapcraft.io
21:02 MrBIOS sverma: agreed, in theory.
21:03 walterbender not familiar with snapscraft
21:03 but it is one thing to propose something and another to do it
21:03 MrBIOS walterbender: Ubuntu Snap is the underlying concept/technology
21:04 walterbender has been using Ubuntu again lately on his day job
21:04 sverma Both snapcraft and flatpak are similar in the problem they are trying to solve. Approaches are different.
21:05 MrBIOS As an aside, I have been working on an up-to-date Ubuntu-derived distro for the XO-1, which may be worth discussing elsewhere, outside of the context of this meeting
21:05 walterbender sverma, for GSoC, James and I put together projects around Python 3 and GTK3 conversion (this is independent of how we build)
21:05 this is because the Python 2 and GTK 2 worlds have a shelf life
21:06 Claudia hello everyone. I have been here in the background... fully here now
21:06 MrBIOS and they’re basically done. 2019 will be the final year where Python 2 dies off in distros, most likely, given that 2020 is the year Python 2 ceases to have any work done on it at all.
21:07 samsongoddy Hello Claudia
21:07 walterbender We need someone to do something similar for flatpack if the work is going to get done
21:07 sverma OK
21:07 walterbender and someone willing to mentor it
21:07 the mentoring bits are as important or more important than anything else
21:07 MrBIOS walterbender: it should be possible to fully automate the creation of the flatpaks
21:07 we have the infrastructure to do it
21:07 sverma I've dabbled with snap for packaging Pathagar. It's fairly straightforward.
21:08 walterbender MrBIOS, (1) who knows how to do it and (2) will they do it and (3) will it be something we can maintain?
21:08 Claudia it would be good to determine what types of Activities
21:08 walterbender MrBIOS, just like anything else...
21:08 MrBIOS walterbender: I don’t know how to do it, but it’s something I’d be willing to help with, but absolutely not something I am willing to do solo. I personally think this would be a great task for a college intern.
21:09 and I don’t believe figuring out how is the problem here :)
21:09 walterbender MrBIOS, unfortunately we missed the GSoC window
21:09 sverma I have to run off to another meeting. I'll catch up with the log later.
21:09 Claudia bye, sverma
21:09 sverma has quit IRC
21:09 Claudia HI samsongoddy
21:09 samsongoddy Hello
21:09 MrBIOS walterbender: that doesn’t need to be our only source of external talent, though, does it?
21:09 ifeanyiekperi__ Welcome Claudia
21:10 samsongoddy SSoc?
21:10 walterbender MrBIOS, but if we think it is pressing, maybe we can recruit an intern out of band
21:10 MrBIOS that is what I am thinking as well, and I think it’s worth it
21:10 walterbender But I think we should offer a GSOC-like stipend and ensure that they get mentoring
21:10 samsongoddy Agreed
21:10 MrBIOS completely agreed, it would be money well spent, but there would need to be minimal accountability.
21:11 Claudia hi ifeanyiekperi__
21:11 walterbender I will gladly try to recruit someone if we have consensus on a mentor(s) and the stipend
21:11 Claudia +1 to the stipend
21:11 samsongoddy Agreed on the stipend too
21:12 MrBIOS walterbender: I volunteer to mentor with regards to packaging
21:12 ifeanyiekperi__ +1 for the stipend
21:12 MrBIOS it’s my wheelhouse
21:12 walterbender MrBIOS, maybe you and Sameer can write up a short project description and then we can post it a la GSoC
21:12 GSoC ends in 1 month and there are some good ones we may be able to hold on to for something like this
21:12 manki11 <manki11!~mankirats@> has joined #sugar-meeting
21:13 walterbender I could raise it as a possibility at the GSoC meeting next week.
21:13 Claudia great, walterbender
21:13 ifeanyiekperi__ From those worked with in GSOC, it would be a hard deal trying to find the best candidate I guess
21:13 samsongoddy Awesome
21:13 ifeanyiekperi__ *wouldn't
21:13 walterbender has a few candidates in mind
21:14 ifeanyiekperi__ Nice to know.
21:16 samsongoddy Any other comments re: #goals
21:16 GrannieB Glad we are getting back on track with the goals
21:16 samsongoddy Me too
21:17 MrBIOS anyways, back to PR for a moment, does anyone here know many people are subscribed to the Sugar Labs Newsletter? I think a goal should be to have the current SLOBs at least know how that works
21:17 I know nothing of it, other than it’s hosted via MailChimp
21:17 samsongoddy Yes
21:17 I have a knowledge of thay
21:17 *that
21:18 walterbender MrBIOS, I stopped writing my monthly newsletter after the relentnes troll attacks I was subject to...
21:18 but maybe I could get back into the habit...
21:18 MrBIOS walterbender: yeah, that troll has passed, perhaps we need to re-visit it
21:18 samsongoddy yes
21:18 Agreed
21:18 Claudia I thought those were great... miss them
21:18 walterbender It was exhausting at the time
21:19 But you are correct
21:19 MrBIOS samsongoddy, can you share with us when the last time a newsletter announcement went out? Just curious, since it’s a resource I suspect we are not utilizing much, if at all
21:19 walterbender and I think a regular voice is much missed
21:19 MrBIOS Claudia: I agree, they were very much so :)
21:19 samsongoddy We haven't actually used it
21:19 walterbender there is a lot of material for a monthly...
21:19 samsongoddy Like send a letter
21:19 MrBIOS especially during GSoC timeframe
21:20 samsongoddy It was included middle last year
21:20 MrBIOS samsongoddy: how many people are subscribed?
21:20 samsongoddy I will revisit and send but not too many
21:20 MrBIOS samsongoddy: that’s good info, it means anyone who has bothered to subscribe has done so in non-ancient times
21:20 walterbender If we are going to send out a formatted newsletter, please, I beg of you, that we take some care to make it look professional
21:21 MrBIOS oif course, it should not get blasted off without some consensus
21:21 qwebirc11679 <qwebirc11679!63cb0a0c@gateway/web/freenode/ip.> has joined #sugar-meeting
21:21 MrBIOS that would be highly unfortunate
21:21 samsongoddy Agreed
21:21 ifeanyiekperi__ https://www.irccloud.com/pastebin/9CdG6rBB
21:21 MrBIOS does anyone know who created the newsletter on MailChimp, and who actually has control/access to it?
21:21 samsongoddy I do
21:21 MrBIOS that should be documented on the wiki somewhere, if it is not already
21:22 samsongoddy Was a mentor of the project
21:23 MrBIOS is it documented anywhere? Wiki?
21:23 samsongoddy None that I know of
21:23 walterbender I think a simple schedule
21:24 All copy due at the first Friday of the month (coincident with the SLOB meeting)
21:24 Quick consensus on the news budget
21:24 a week to copy edit
21:24 Claudia I vote for simple and well written...
21:24 walterbender and to "press" on the ides
21:25 ifeanyiekperi__ A goal for at least a monthly newsletter consisting of: A catchy headline, news about SL, new and updated projects etc
21:25 walterbender is willing to copyedit
21:25 and write some content
21:25 samsongoddy Also fetch some news about Sugar Labs from the internet
21:25 ifeanyiekperi__ Well designed to attract the reader at first sight tok
21:25 *too
21:25 qwebirc11679 has quit IRC
21:25 walterbender is way behind on another writing project :P
21:26 Claudia I don't know much about the current format
21:26 qwebirc21536 <qwebirc21536!63cb0a0c@gateway/web/freenode/ip.> has joined #sugar-meeting
21:27 ifeanyiekperi__ Email marketing is powerful and effective. Shouldn't be second on the list of our means of marketing, glad it would be revived
21:29 samsongoddy Any last comments?
21:29 walterbender who is the lead to make this happen?
21:30 will a plan be published for the community?
21:30 samsongoddy Target members
21:30 ifeanyiekperi__ walterbender: I guess that would be you since you're familiar with the newsletter setup, I can also help if you wish
21:31 samsongoddy We have emails from membership
21:31 So what we need to do is import? I guess
21:32 To MailChimp as to get members to receive updates from the community
21:32 walterbender OK. I'll propose a structure
21:32 samsongoddy Great
21:32 walterbender and I will be dictatorial about the formatting
21:33 anything else for today?
21:33 samsongoddy Yes
21:33 TA day
21:33 Last i think
21:33 ifeanyiekperi__ Great
21:33 samsongoddy #TurtleArtDay
21:34 walterbender #topic Turtle Art Day
21:34 samsongoddy Two opportunities
21:34 MrBIOS walterbender: I propose further discsussion/organization of the newsletter happens on marketing@sugarlabs.org

21:39 walterbender samsongoddy, Mid-August will work... but only one week.
21:39 samsongoddy Yes
21:39 I send a calendar for one week
21:39 *sent
21:39 manki11 has quit IRC
21:39 walterbender samsongoddy, but I don't scale... so the dependency on my visiting is a long-term bug
21:39 maybe we can use flatpack
21:40 samsongoddy i didn't get that
21:40 walterbender It was a geek joke about dependencies
21:41 samsongoddy Also two days ago
21:41 I got a ping
21:41 To come down to Ethopia
21:41 two weeks of August
21:41 walterbender samsongoddy, I am only just ending a really intense work week
21:42 samsongoddy To cover Turtle Blocks
21:42 Yeah you mentioned that
21:42 MrBIOS An aside (follow-up from earlier, not meant to derail current subject of discussion), the link to the press page in the footer of the sugarlabs.org website has been removed, see https://github.com/sugarlabs/w[…]ugarlabs/pull/222
21:42 samsongoddy Hopefully we can start with the visa processing
21:43 I have a concern to share
21:43 Publicly
21:43 walterbender we are waiting...
21:43 samsongoddy I ran into issues of fronting of funds on the last motion
21:44 Hopefully it don't get to happen again
21:44 manki11 <manki11!~mankirats@> has joined #sugar-meeting
21:45 manki11 has quit IRC
21:45 Claudia what can we do yo avoid it?
21:45 samsongoddy Ask SFC
21:45 To give me money on contract
21:45 MrBIOS how long was the delay last time?
21:46 samsongoddy It too much for me to borrow from friends
21:46 And ask for reimbursement
21:46 I am currently facing issues
21:46 walterbender -1
21:46 samsongoddy On having to repay some of my friends I asked to front
21:47 Claudia did you use the template they gave you?
21:47 samsongoddy Yes, submitted reimbursement
21:47 That part is gone
21:47 I am more concern about the rest funds
21:47 Regarding TA day as it shouldn't go through same process
21:48 Claudia I only know what I saw in  the email
21:50 GrannieB has quit IRC
21:50 walterbender needs to head to the airport
21:50 will read the back log
21:50 samsongoddy Okay
21:50 Claudia safe travels, walterbender
21:50 samsongoddy Safe travels
21:50 ifeanyiekperi__ Safe travels walterbender
21:51 samsongoddy Any more comments before I end the meeting
21:51 Claudia I recommend we ask Karen about process before any expense
21:52 samsongoddy +1
21:52 Claudia cc Bradley and SLOBs
21:52 Quozl i concur with MrBIOS that without maintaining sugar, not much else can happen.
21:52 ifeanyiekperi__ +1 to avoid any form of delay from SFC in dispacting necessary funds
21:53 Claudia +1, Quozl
21:53 Quozl i also add that my guess is that about 10% of sugar works as it once did.  falling behind fast.
21:53 MrBIOS if it means you have to spend some money to make that happen, so be it
21:53 s/you/SugarLabs/g
21:54 walterbender has quit IRC
21:54 samsongoddy If nothing else
21:54 Quozl but don't take my word for it, investigate.  ;-)
