15:39 m_anish alsroot, ping.
15:40 alsroot m_anish: ok, I hope you don't work hard and will have time to complete my work on Doers environemnt in time :)
15:40 s/and will/and I will/
15:40 m_anish alsroot, i also meant to thank you for the awesome work you've been doing with the new devs :)
15:41 alsroot, lets see :)
15:41 alsroot m_anish: the thing is that it is (working w/ new devs) the thing which [should] be natural for sugar ecosystem
15:41 ..and regular for most of participants
15:46 m_anish alsroot, however, at any given time, there are not a _LOT_ of devs to help out on #sugar. Compare it with other channels like #git, #python, #ubuntu (okay, that was too far :)), but as more devs join sugar, i'm hopeful the new 'joinees' or people looking for help will have a better experience.
15:47 also, college students (from india) usually don't have lot of FOSS/Linux experience (mainly because of M$ crap being shoved down their throats for years). I hope that changes
15:50 alsroot m_anish: btw what the situation with internet connection for XO users in py/uy? if it is not bad that is the way to improve communication around sugar
15:52 m_anish alsroot, from what i know there is good connectivity between the PyEduca offices and the XO deployment site in Caacupe. But the internet at the office isn't very fast (I I would presume by extension, not fast in Caacupe as well). I don't know anything abt internet speed in uy.
15:54 well, I just asked folks here...
15:55 connectivity between pyeduca office in Asuncion and Caacupe is very good, each school has 2mbps internet bandwidth, but because of large number of users, its actually quite sleo
15:55 s/sleo/slow
